Payments to the West Suffolk CBT Service

 

Self funding

 

For individuals who attend  drop in classes payment is usually expected directly before each class by cheque, credit or debit card. Cheques are to be made payable to the WSCBT Ltd.

 

(Concessionary rates for classes may be made available by directors of the West Suffolk CBT Service Ltd in certain circumstances.)

 

 

Cancellations and fees

 

No fee will be charged if greater than 24 hours notice is given of a cancellation. We will charge you a full fee if less than 24 hours notice is given of a cancellation.

 

 

Children

 

Younger children  cannot participate in Hot Power Yoga as their bodies have not yet developed an ability to discharge heat effectively. Adolescents  below the age of sixteen may participate in classes  if  this is approved by the  hot power yoga teacher.

 

Health Issues

 

If you  are aware that you have a health issue where they is a possibility that your health may be adversely affected as a result of  a) engaging in yoga and b) engaging in yoga in a hot environment then we may require medical clearance from your General Practitioner before you can participate.

 

Pregnancy

 

It is not advised that pregnant females engage in hot power yoga classes

 

Equipment

 

It is expected that class participants will bring their own yoga towel and mat to classes. These can be purchased separately at reception if required.

 

Facilities

 

Unfortunately the facilities provide only limited changing  facilities and a shower is not provided.  During colder times of the year it is advised that you bring  warm clothing  to cover  your body after you leave your hot power yoga class

 

Hydration

 

Hot power yoga leads the body to sweat significantly. You will therefore need to bring  sufficient liquid with you to enable effective hydration.

 

Conditions

 

If you have any of the following conditions please let us know. You may need to consult your doctor before you participate.

 

  • Cardiovascular Conditions
  • Alcohol Abuse
  • Diseases Associated with reduced Ability To Sweat Or Perspire
  • Hemophilia or prone to bleeding
  • Fever
  • Sensitivity to Heat
  • Pregnancy
  • Use a pacemaker/Defibrillator
  • Implants

 

If you have any muscular, ligament or joint ligaments please let you Yoga instructor know before you complete a class.
